I made a trip to Goby Walnut Products in Portland, probably my favorite source for hardwood, where I discovered some thin stock of walnut. The boards were about 6” wide, 36” long and 1/4” thick, perfect for the quote trout I want to sell.

The walnut engraved nicely on the Muse.
